Samantha was born in May of 1996 bred from a Labrador Retriever(mother)and Greyhound(father). The owners took the puppies to the SPCA of McKinney to find them a good home. Sam is a very energetic girl who loves to play just about anything. Her favorite games are to run chasing the red dot from a laser pointer, and to swim in the lake bringing back what ever she finds. She is the first dog that my husband has had (for an extended period of time) and always has to be by one of our sides no matter what we are doing.

Bill was born March 1st in 1998. He is a red Brindle Greyhound and started his racing career October 3rd 1999. He was not fast enough at the track so his owner Mr. Wadlington found him a new home which ended December 31st 1999. I came across Bill on the Fort Worth Humane Society web page. The Humane Society had seized him from a person with 136 other animals - all neglected. It is amazing watching the transformation of this scared timid creature try to be a dog. His favorite game is to play with Samantha, and he loves to fetch a ball (bringing it back is a different story) Bill has taught my husband the incredible power of love.
